Grandma's Visit

My mom came to visit this past Friday. We spent all day Saturday at the camper in Townsend where they were celebrating the 4th of July early with hotdogs, watermelon, hayrides, tractor parades and fireworks.

We spent a lot of the day in the water

And as usual, spent the evening fishing.

We spent a long time at the pond while waiting for the fireworks

Just before dark Paul decided to try for a catfish instead of the normal sunfish. Everyone, the boys and all of the other people around us waiting for fireworks, were excited when he pulled one up...

So of course when we made our way back up to Townsend on Monday, Rylan wanted to give it a try. He is the only one really patient enough for this- and it paid off:

I haven't seen him smile that big for so long in awhile!

We spent a morning at the blueberry patch...

And yesterday drove down the Lost Sea

Which they all found interesting, especially the boat ride at the bottom of the cave.

And as usual, it was hard to say goodbye when she headed back to Oklahoma this morning...
