There's a list of things I want. Farm-wise. Barnheart is a term I read once that perfectly describes it. For the most part I have settled into waiting, until Paul has finished school. Until the time is right.
But yesterday I asked Paul to get chicken feed and pine shavings on the way home from work. He came home with these:

They are just adorable! What a great experience for your boys. If we didn't have two 100+ lbs. dogs I would be tempted to give it a go. Since we do, I will just enjoy your posts. Thanks for for sharing.

These are beautiful. We're in the process of a move -- out to the country, and I can't believe the day is here when chickens may be reality. No that it's here?.. EEk!
